The 26 Gifts of Christ’s Finished Work: A book cover collaboration with O’live & Write

Thinking of publishing a book? You’ll quickly realise there’s more to it than just writing—there’s editing, formatting, cover design, and yes, even choosing the right title.

That’s exactly what happened when Pastor Kenny Chee approached Grace (O’live & Write) for help with his first book, The 26 Gifts of Christ’s Finished Work.

Originally titled A to Z of Christ’s Finished Work, the book was structured as an alphabetical exploration of Christ’s redemptive work. But as we discussed the book title and cover design, we saw an opportunity to reposition it—framing these truths as gifts rather than just a list. This shift gave the book a stronger theme and a cover to match.

From book title tweaks to a minimalist cover

Pastor Kenny had a clear vision—he wanted a minimalist book cover that was simple, elegant, and timeless. After exchanging ideas over WhatsApp and meeting in person to refine the concept, O'live & Write designed two options for him. One of them just clicked. It had that quiet, confident “this is the one” energy—clean, striking, and reflective of the book’s message.

The journey to publishing with iPossible Books

With the book cover in place, things were also coming together on the publishing side. With iPossible Books handling the publication, a fellow author stepped in to offer guidance, pastors provided endorsements, and what started as a personal writing project soon became something much bigger.

If you’re working on your own book, you’ll know how much thought goes into every detail—from choosing the right book title to designing a cover that captures its essence. The 26 Gifts of Christ’s Finished Work is a great example of how small shifts in positioning can make a big difference.
