Freshly opened at Lentor Modern, Daily Restaurant enters the scene as the new kid on the block – one that isn’t afraid to experiment.
The moment we walk in, the colourful theme sets the tone, accompanied by equally vibrant dishes.

Conceptualised by chef Yang Li under the Da Hock brand, the Western-leaning restaurant sets out on a curious mission: take dishes we know from elsewhere and give them a slight local twist.
A key highlight of the opening is Singapore’s first pink pizza, featuring dough tinted naturally with dragonfruit. With cheese, specially imported ham and rosebuds, the combination is inspired by the sweetness of the Bandung drink.

So, how'd it taste?
The dough was super soft — the whole pizza almost felt like I was biting into an open calzone. Warm, pillowy and really satisfying to eat.
The generous slices of specially-imported ham gave the pizza a savoury bite, while the creamy cheese and lightly floral rosebuds added a fun contrast.
Honestly, I didn’t really pick up strong dragonfruit or Bandung notes, but the taste and fun pink colour still made it memorable... and yes, we’d order it again.
Next up, the squid ink pasta arrives in a striking shade of black, and I honestly wasn’t expecting a particularly strong flavour beyond the visuals.
I took a bite and was surprised how clearly the crab-flavoured seafood broth came through in the umami-rich rice. It was so good (worth even the black teeth and lips after)

This ended up being my favourite dish of the meal. The scallops were also well done, seared till lightly crisp on the outside while still tender within.
Another standout was the rotisserie chicken: well-seasoned, tender and satisfyingly juicy. It quickly became the crowd favourite at our table.

We were especially impressed by how the flavour had permeated the entire chicken, finished with a beautifully crisp skin!
We also went through a whole lineup of drinks that looked just as playful as the food. Bright colours, interesting combinations all around. They were pleasant enough, not particularly conventional, but that seemed to be the whole point.

What makes Daily feel like a true Unique Find is not just the colourful ideas, but the way these ideas are backed by solid cooking. The atmosphere is lively but still easygoing, which makes it suitable for gatherings, casual dinners with friends or just a spontaneous food adventure.
If you’re curious to try the pink pizza for yourself, Daily officially opens on 26 March 2026, with a grand opening promotion of 50% off the full menu for the first two days, and 40% off from 28 to 29 March.
